What I do
I offer virtual individual therapy to adolescents (16+) and adults. In my practice, I have focused on treating individuals who struggle with depression, anxiety, emotion regulation, trauma, self-esteem, relationships, perinatal mental health, as well as body image and eating concerns.
How I can help
My goal in therapy is to create a kind and compassionate environment for my clients to safely discuss their challenges and gain the necessary skills to overcome them. To support clients in doing so, I use psychological interventions from various evidence-based therapeutic models (e.g., cognitive-behavioral therapy, compassion-focused therapy, and prolonged exposure therapy). These interventions help clients build upon their existing strengths, or gain new skills, to create the positive change they are seeking in their lives.
My Values
I value genuine connection, compassion, kindness, authenticity, balance, and humour. I have found that infusing these values into my work has allowed my clients to find fulfillment and enjoyment in therapy.
